4Intellectual property

All elements of the site (texts, graphics, logos, icons, code, design, sounds, videos) are protected by intellectual property law. They are the exclusive property of Benoit Guionie / ECAB13, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation, in whole or in part, of the site's elements is prohibited without prior written authorization.

Videos streamed within Rooms are not hosted by AperoRoom: they are embedded via the official YouTube embed player. Their copyright remains with their respective owners. AperoRoom complies with YouTube's Terms of Service.

5Personal data (GDPR)

AperoRoom collects only the data strictly necessary for the service operation: email address (for account creation and login), display name, and Google identifier (only if you choose to sign in with Google). No data is sold to third parties.

In accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Rectify or delete your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Restrict or object to the processing
• Portability of your data

6Google user data (Google APIs)

AperoRoom offers optional sign-in and integration through your Google account. Here is exactly how we handle your Google data.

Data accessed. We request the following permissions (scopes):

• openid, email, profile — during "Sign in with Google": your email address, display name and public profile picture.
• youtube.readonly (read-only, optional) — only if you choose to connect your YouTube channel: read-only access to your YouTube playlists and "Liked" videos.

Usage. The email is your account identifier and a way to contact you; the name and picture populate your AperoRoom profile; the read-only YouTube access is used only to display your playlists and "Liked" videos so you can pick a room's first video. We never modify your YouTube account and perform no other action on your behalf.

Sharing. Your Google data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. It is only accessible to the technical subprocessors strictly required to run the service (hosting). Your YouTube account content is never transmitted to any third party.

Storage and protection. All exchanges use HTTPS (TLS). Google access and refresh tokens are stored securely on our servers, with restricted access, and are used solely to maintain the read-only access you authorized.

Retention and deletion. Your data is kept while your account is active. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account, and request deletion of your data by emailing info@aperoroom.com — we delete it promptly.

Limited Use. AperoRoom's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: we do not use this data for advertising, do not transfer it to third parties, and do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models. 7Cookies

AperoRoom uses only essential cookies:

• Session cookie (PHPSESSID) — to keep you logged in
• Stripe cookies — only on payment pages, to secure transactions

No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. If Google Analytics is activated in the future, you will be informed and given the choice to refuse.
